Light the rose candle, then the first two candles. The rose candle represents Joy.
The angels sang a message of joy.
Luke 2:10-11
10. And the angel said unto them, Be not
afraid; for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which shall be to all
the people:
11. for there is born to you this day in the city of David a
Saviour, who is Christ the Lord.
This candle is also known as the
"Shepherd's Candle".

2. Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
